  1. Hand of homeless person holding a cup with the American Flag. CityKid Mobile Farmers Market truck with volunteers selling produce from their own farms to a diverse public in Minneapolis. CityKid (Enterprises) is part of the charity Urban Ventures. Donations box with dollar bills. wim
  2. BDA1JN R0GHE6 FEHPJ4 R16C71 J79G6X F0198C BGYY7P 2H7KTW0 APHJF1 AYN5E8 APHKC9 wim edit: link to all
  3. Bach. Germany Magazine Mid $$ Duration: In perpetuity page: 63 No other page you hear! Only on page 63. 😂 wim
  4. Not Doc 😁. I just set a Google Alert for wiskerke / alamy. But I also have one for just wiskerke and wim wiskerke and wiskerke/alamy just in case. It's not possible to use it with images, so you will only find those images with either a correct caption or byline or sometimes with the correct exif data present. It is possible to filter stuff out, that will look like: [wim wiskerke -alamy] if I want everything about wim wiskerke but without my Alamy images. Don't forget to check the Any language box. The default is probably English. wim
  5. One more from Aviation Week Network, also not reported yet: here edit: And yet another. I knew there were more. Reported the next day however at a decent mid low $$ here wim edit 2: They use the Alamy ref# as their filename.
  6. Here's one more video about possibly using an iPhone. wim
  7. Apple, like Android, has no file management system by design. It's not an omission it's a safety feature. Of course there is Files now, but it's very restricted. It may do what you want on a Mac, but not on a phone or an iPad where it will only allow you to work within Files itself. I'm sure that people have found ways to do it on an iPhone/iPad just like Sooth: copying files to his phone first and then from there to the SSD. I'm going to try that out as well. Normally I make sure that my files are not backed up to a cloud service while traveling: my online storage is not limitless and depending on your mobile subscription plan and location, uploading terabytes can be costly. wim
  8. Maybe that's a solution for me. My phone does have 256GB of which I only use about 40 to 50. OTOH 3 cards would still mean 3 hours total. Let's do some testing. wim
  9. Yes but for me it's really slow. Like a 128GB takes a whole night. No idea why. I use a Transcend TS-HUB5C USB-C hub which is otherwise quite fast. I back up to a Sandisk SDSSDE30-2T00 2TB SSD which also is otherwise quite fast. On my Xiaomi phone or Samsung tablet I use Total Commander with the free app Microsoft exFAT/NTFS for USB by Paragon. No idea how I set it up back then, but plenty of tutorials on line. The trick is to power the hub with a generic phone adapter. At the moment however if at all possible I tend to borrow my wife's laptop for half an hour and zap my 3 128GB cards to the SSD that way. Also using Total Commander btw. I wouldn't know how to run any computer without a decent file managing program and this is still the best. However the Android version has lots of quirks (to use a polite word) just like Android itself because it has to run on... Android. Duh. In all: I am on the lookout for a nice small tablet-size tablet-weight laptop again. However there is none that fits those, let alone my other requirements like a full size SD slot (must have) and a decent SSD of say 4GB or (also must have). User upgradable would be nice to have, like buying it with a 256GB and upgrade it with a 4TB. wim
  10. Thans for including my Iron Man Ripken! Wim (from a pretty remote part of France)
  11. There is no such thing as a landing page. wim
  12. It's not entirely British. In fact it could be argued that it's sort of completely... Japanese! clip wim
  13. The Customer's global based web pages and associated social media platforms. (Huh?) High $. Have some music with this? Sirens wail in the concrete. wim
  14. Sod is a piece of grass with it's matted roots. We have it as zode now, but it used to be sode in Middle Dutch the language of The Netherlands in the Middle Ages. And you got it from us. Etymologically speaking. We have onder de groene zoden (= under green sods) as a saying for dead and buried. It's a common metaphor: gras erover! = (put) grass over it! means the subject should not be an issue anymore; it should be and remain buried. So my guess for sod it! is that it's bury it! And from there it gets used as a lesser swear word. wim
  15. The Agent List is a good place to search for agents in a particular city or something like celebrity portrait Berlin or architecture Miami. You probably are already familiar with A Photo Editor. That link comes from his site. He gives lists of real commission fees both on his website and on Instagram. Plus a nice collection of photographer's promos. I noticed the b/w prints behind your models and one wearing a large hat. Maybe take a look at this guy. Please don't copy him, just for reference. wim
  16. Editorial website Media, design & publishing - In perpetuity Standalone digital use. I have not seen the Standalone before. Probably used here. Just $$. On lots of flights there's a warning nowadays that it's not allowed to take images of personnel. Not yet in 2015. wim
  17. You must feel blessed. Jim Pickerell the famous author of Negotiating Stock Photo Prices gave his name to a weed? Or the other way around maybe? It looks like a nice garden plant. Which it is in our part of the world. It is a weed native plant from Canada to Argentina. Chances are that you or your predecessor gardener had to pay for it. Some seem to be a lovely color blue, then again it may be that it's just the stock photos that are this color. (612 images here on Alamy for Pontederia cordata : 608 for Pickerel weed and 559 for Pickerelweed) 😁 wim
  18. Yes. Method 1: Skew and/or Warp. Method 2: Crop Tool with Content-Aware box checked. Method 3: the same as method 2, but with AI Fill. No perfect how-to yet, but here's some possibilities. wim
  19. Weird. You could try to access it from within Google Photos. This is the advice Google initially gave to people with incompatible phones like some Xiaomis. My Xiaomi 10Tpro accepted the standalone app without complaining. So I have not tried it. Correction: I just tried it and it works. Here's the detailed instruction I found (and needed!) wim
  20. The minimum requirement is Android 6 I believe. That would roughly be a 2015 or 2016 phone. The current Android version is 13 or Tiramisu. Make sure to clear out the Play Store cache on your phone. If you have Lens already installed, but it will not open, make sure the right permissions are set: Camera, Microphone and Storage. Android has this annoying habit of revoking permissions when you don't use an app often enough. All for our own security of course. wim
  21. Haha the national (well state in US terms) flag is in fact his family's flag. He's a direct descendant of the king of Bavaria. Not 'mad' king Ludwig II, but his grandfather Ludwig I. Leopold -Poldi- is his great-great-great-grandchild. He lives steps from where Ludwig II (the mad/fairy king) died. There are quite a few images here on Alamy of the prince. Some, but not a lot, in various nice vehicles. More on google images. That Bergspyder! wim
  22. Then carry two. I do. Plus a big stick long pole. wim
