Jacob Y
Hello, I took a picture of a master lock on a open door. Do I need a release to sell it rights managed? Thanks in advance, Jacob Y.
Betty LaRue
No. You need a release to sell it RF. Just tick the box saying release required YES Then the only option left is RM.
Jacob Y
Thank you Mrs. LaRue. I have never done something that needed a release. Thanks, Jacob Y.
Arletta
If I understand correct, soon we will be able to sell it under RF/ editorial too? Things are getting more complicated...
John Mitchell
Sorry to change the subject, but it's not a good idea to upload similars -- e.g some of your daffodil and sunset shots are almost exactly the same. Similars can hurt your ranking. Good luck.
Allan Bell
Following on from John's post. Look at FKE4DM and FKEJA7 they are definitely identical and one should go. Likewise FKE4DN and FKEJAD Also FKE4DR and FKEJAE Just trying to help. Best of luck for future sales. Allan
Jacob Y
Hello, But not to be disrespectful, but if you look at my post in "Free editing software" that I have deleted them. Bye, Jacob Y.
Cryptoprocta
Thy Hello, But not to be disrespectful, but if you look at my post in "Free editing software" that I have deleted them. Bye, Jacob Y. They will still be visible for six months in your port, as they are today. However, if you remembered to delete caption and keywords they won't be searchable. You can ask Member Services to delete them completely which will take effect far sooner than six months.
DDoug
"However, if you remembered to delete caption and keywords they won't be searchable." Evidently, this needs to be done before marking them for deletion. I tried to go back and delete caption/keyword text on some images previously marked for deletion and it was grayed out with no further changes possible. spacecadet
Yes, do it first. Then they only appear on your "homepage". I find it handy to replace the keywords with something I can remember so they are at least findable by me. Not sure why though. Edit- don't use "xxx". There are 7000 search results for "xxx" for some reason. In fact there seem to be results for every small group of consecutive letters. I give up. Jacob Y
Hello, The pictures themselves have no technical flaws, they are only similars, so I'm not concerned about them staying up. However, the step has been taken to delete them and that is the gold star. Bye, Jacob Y.
Jacob Y
Sorry to revive this topic, but i found this link. Is this valid release for my picture? https://www.masterlock.com/testimonial/release
John Richmond
Sorry to revive this topic, but i found this link. Is this valid release for my picture? https://www.masterlock.com/testimonial/release No. Their release is for testimonials etc submitted to or requested by themselves and to be used in their marketing/advertising. It has nothing to do with your images of their product(s).
