Kathy deWitt
Hi Theodosis: Sometimes lists are posted in the blog. The most recent is here: http://www.alamy.com/blog/stock-photo-requests-may-2016 If you look at My Alamy you will find "Your Alamy" and "All of Alamy" under Measures. You can check what has been searched on previous days here in Alamy Measures or in your own account which will give you an idea. i.e. http://www.alamy.com/Customersearch/Customersearchhistory.aspx Good Luck Kathy
dov makabaw
Hi i am a new photographer of alamy and i wanted to ask if it is possible to tell me wich types of photos are most wanted and make the biggest sells here in Alamy? Thanks The ones that sell. There are no secret formulae. If you can find a USP or have a niche interest you will be a bigger fish in a smaller pond. Otherwise your portfolio is 5 out of 62 million so you will need to shine. You will need to manage your portfolio to ensure that you remain high in the rankings. Good keyboarding and few similar will help. At the end of the day it is a bit of a numbers game. Good luck. dov
John Mitchell
Have to concur with Philippe, my "gap-fillers" are my bestsellers. Without them I'd be cold toast. When it comes to making sales these days, I'm finding that it's more a matter of "least covered" than "most wanted." P.S. I've also discovered that just filling any old gap doesn't work. You have to be lucky enough to stumble upon a productive one.

Are those the most sold? Because there have been only 6 zooms for #1 search term Alamy I don't think so. troll 15internet troll 10trolls 6trolling 3 A search for Internet troll brings up only 143 images. Matt Ashmore
Also, Alamy (normally) product a monthly blog of picture requests that their clients have asked for but cannot find. This month's just came out: http://www.alamy.com/blog/stock-photo-requests-june-2016 Some of them (a lot of them) are quite obscure/specialised subjects however e.g. Angel of the north from above So if you happen to live in the north of England and happen to have access to a helicopter or the likes, then maybe this is a picture that you need to go and take... Jokes aside, some of the picture needs are a little more accessible and the blog gives you ideas of what real customers need.

spacecadet
Angel of the north from above $5.67 DM licences will pay for that in no time. Or should that be: the lifetime of the Universe is not enough time for $5.67 DM licences to pay for that.
