flyingdutchman
Because actually you submitted 5 Photos instead of 4.
Ed Rooney
So many of these newbie problems could be solved if these people would just go to the Alamy Home Page and read every word in each part of the "For Sellers" section -- twice. Yes, John M is correct; Alamy's text could use an update. But most of these repeat questions we get would be answered before they are asked. I wonder if anyone has done a YouTube video? Bill Brooks
Alamy's next job could be to translate some of the website into multiple languages. Perhaps some of these newbie problems are due to the fact that English is not the newbie's first language. We know that English in the West is the language of commerce, however it is relatively simple to translate a website into multiple languages. 46% of households in Toronto speak a language other than English at home. While English is the language of commerce in Toronto, smart Toronto businesses offer their printed documents in multiple languages upon request. They also have multilingual staff on the sales floor. Translation is cost efficient. Here is the front page of the City of Toronto website complete with a Google translate option in the bottom lower left corner http://www.toronto.ca

It would probably be relatively easy to add a Google translation box. Vancouver is now a veritable Tower of Babel as well.
ann
On my iPad, I meant to press green +1 for Edo's suggestion of YouTube video covering basic info on Alamy initial submission, but accidentally hit red -1 instead. If someone would hit a green +1 to cancel out my red one, I'd appreciate it - Ann So many of these newbie problems could be solved if these people would just go to the Alamy Home Page and read every word in each part of the "For Sellers" section -- twice. Ed Rooney
It's just a flesh wound, Ann. Don't worry. I hope you didn't get hit too bad with the storm.

ann
Thank you, Tony C! Edo, since L.I. was bracing for 2-3 feet, the 14-18" that arrived in my area didn't seem so bad, especially since no one lost power. But it was a bit scary at blizzard's worst in middle of night, so I captured it from indoors at that point: http://bit.ly/2015BLIZZARD As for fellow New Yorkers to my west - is correct that NYC civilians were out and about, rather unfazed? It's just a flesh wound, Ann. Don't worry. I hope you didn't get hit too bad with the storm.
Ed Rooney
This is normal winter snow in the city. A lot of the restaurants closed, but they didn't have to. Crossing the street can be a dampening experience for socks. Of course the young women are bouncing along as always. Thanks, Tony.
Lynn Palmer
Motasem, To be clear, you now need to pick exactly 4 clean, sharp, technically perfect images and resubmit them for your first submission. You were failed because the first submission was a single image when they require four images. The second set of four images was automatically failed with the first image because Alamy will fail all submittals waiting in the queue if just one image in the first batch fails. It's a bit confusing at first but you'll get used to the rules. Edit: I'm sorry, I may be confused as well. Did the second batch of four images also fail? I assumed it did since they said to submit four more images.
Matt Limb
Getting back to the reason of the post; the fail is due to the file name - or am I missing something!
Russell Watkins
Getting back to the reason of the post; the fail is due to the file name - or am I missing something! Yes. You're missing the loss of formatting of the OP's post. I think "Number of images" should line up under "Rejection Reason".
