Mail Online 23rd DGR93B Wim Wiskerke Amsterdam Christmas Tree w snow, Xmas lights in Dam Square with people, tourists, visitors, posing and taking pictures at dusk Bryan, Thank you! No snow here yet (13 degrees C), but it might happen on Saturday (forecast: up to 4 inches). wim edit: just read the article about a cruise ship cruising the English Channel for five days because of the storm. The ship was supposed to visit the Amsterdam Christmas markets. They had a sort of mutiny on board. Well they would have had one too if they would have made it to Amsterdam: no Christmas market here because there was arguing on the board. No Christmas Lights Canal Parade either, because of the same. Different board though. There is a somewhat limited Christmas lights festival. Hardly worth 1 Michelin star (for interesting). Certainly not "worth a detour" or "worth a trip".
