Jerry K
I'm new to Alamy (though not to stock) and am wondering what is the difference between RM and RM Exclusive.
spacecadet
Exclusive means you offer it nowhere else. Not recommended unless you're sure of higher fees. Here you're not. Edited May 1, 2013 by spacecadet 1
Jerry K
What do you mean, offer nowhere else? Is Alamy ok with contributors distributing the same image to more than one agency?

JohnB
Info. about licenses here: http://www.alamy.com/contributor/help/image-licences.asp RM exclusive means a customer can buy exclusive rights to use the image. One consequence of that is that you cannot offer the image elsewhere. Of course a customer could enquire about exclusive use for any RM image. If you offer the image non-exclusive RM you are free to offer the image elsewhere.

Richard Baker
How is it possible for forum member to have 0 images? Well you can have an Alamy account while yet to have anything on sale - and therefore able to post here. Richard
Bizair
How is it possible for forum member to have 0 images? Well you can have an Alamy account while yet to have anything on sale - and therefore able to post here. Richard Or you can have two accounts, post here with one, upload with another. I'm not sure this is within Alamy rules and I would not condone it nor do it myself. But it is not outside the bounds of possibilities. In any case, I think that people who have a problem with their portfolio being publicly accessable from within the forum may have good reason for it. It's just that I haven't yet been convinced on any arguments I have seen. Ken
