Alamy 'trending' lightbox 'Natural light'

Recommended Posts

I like the way that Alamy promote these themed images, in this case I saw it on Twitter. It points to a lightbox here:

Nice choice of images but I always wonder about just how the buyer is meant to come across them, keywords, caption? I haven't checked which might be in Ultimate or Vital but I suspect that a fair proportion will be. Certainly only 9 of the 60 are RM so that's a clue.

The ones that I've spot checked have mainly been Ultimate, strangely one is Ultimate but for Editorial or Personal use only, presumably because of a logo on the oar. Many do in fact have 'natural' and 'light' as keywords but some that don't have 'golden hour'. Not about to check all 60 though.

Does this one count - or is it a potential QC failure?

what about it jumps out at you as a QC failure? Are you meaning the hazy patch on the water near the reflection of the sun? Took me a bit to notice it, but it's hard to prove if it is a drop of water or not...

I see what you mean about the heat haze in the distance,  but the pool's fine and I would submit.

I would probably have taken the specular highlights down a bit more but that's a failing of mine. It's a cracker.

Thanks will submit - perhaps on its own when others have passed through QC.

Am currently working on ones taken in Sidi Ifni ( a place that I have always wanted to visit and turns out to be very different and actually better than imagined)
