losdemas
Sorry, new to this and not too good at identifying the source images, but found the following pages: Power station (Yorkshire?): http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/business-news-markets-live/10029554/Business-news-and-markets-live.html Laptop: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/internet/10029180/Children-using-internet-from-age-of-three-study-finds.html BKYP9W, Ianni Dimitrov, 'Female teacher gives private lesson to schoolboy at home': http://www.telegraph.co.uk/women/mother-tongue/10029052/Its-not-parents-fault-that-children-as-young-as-two-are-getting-private-tutors.html A06T88, Chris Clark, (cropped): https://catholicismpure.wordpress.com/
Bryan
I followed your Power Station link Danny, but they appear to have changed the photo. losdemas
Bryan - yes they HAVE changed the photo! In the mini-slideshow, they had only two photos a few hours ago, now they have four and the Alamy photo has changed as you note. Previously, the Alamy photo was something similar to B8W219.EDIT: I guess as the title of this page is 'Business news and markets: live', then images are prone to be changed according to importance of news on the page? How this affects licensing, God only knows!
Pat Phillips
EDIT: I guess as the title of this page is 'Business news and markets: live', then images are prone to be changed according to importance of news on the page? How this affects licensing, God only knows! I've had an image appear briefly on a slideshow and also on the top of a story in the Guardian, both of which disappeared later in the day. They were licensed the same as when I've sold images that did not get replaced. I've learned to make screen captures asap!

Using Tineye or Google search sometimes helps. Often the story line will give a clue to the keywords being used - the Google image search can provide further clues in that respect if the photo has been used before. In this instance I suspected that the houses were in London. I have found that a minority of contributors don't bother with the number of people in the image, so it occasionally pays not to use that feature when searching. If in doubt try Alex Segre or Chris Rout

Lynne
Easyjet Traveller Inflight Magazine May 2013 Page 45 BCA8YE, Image & Stories, Halicarnassus Amphitheatre, Bodrum, Turkey There are plenty more attributed to Alamy but after more than an hour and a half searching for them I have given up for now - very frustrating! If I find any more I will add them to this post. Lynne Edit: Lisa's post (no 32 below) prompted me to look on line and I found that they did in fact have an online edition. I've pasted a link below - maybe someone else can find them, I can't!.
