  1. I hardly see it, but you could try a spotting tool with a wide feather edge.

  3. One thought which applied to me- I don't know if it could be a factor. Getting some new specs helped.

Meanwhile, the OP's gone. No images.
  5. +1, what I mainly see is too much NR. I recall it from some ongoing problems I had somewhile ago. I think of it as a mosaic with too-big tesserae. I downsize high-ISO images routinely- 1600 is usually OK though. I see the A68 is quite similar to my 55.
  6. Just read his posts back as far as his diagnosis with "Finlandia" on the radio. Spoiler warning- it's heartbreaking.
  7. Seems the only way to get a comment from Alamy is to say something provocative and read the explanation of why the thread has been shut down. I'm considering it. As explained, Alamy seems to be dipping into the accounts of contributors to pay its business expenses- contributors who have followed its guidelines.
  8. They rather are, aren't they? I only used film for 28 years. Only a few more years to exceed that with digital.
  9. Sounds like a challenge, Ed. Or, in your case, a walk in the park. I try not to compete with myself, but if there's a new angle or a better light, I'll have it. The small print- I think one of these has licensed, for not much. And these aren't really similars, and the light's the same because we always go in September. Ah well. Gallic shrug.
  10. This is something of an understatement- it's very clever. I tried it out on travel pix, and it can read beer and wine labels (I have a fair few of those lol). It also identified actors dressed as Roman legionaries in Diocletian's palace. It can't identify Split yet, but it got the Beehive in Wellington. It's a very powerful tool and leaves one no excuses for not tagging. Now if it could process and upload......... Thankyou JB, this is a most generous gesture and I hope you find a way to monetise it (but please don't charge us for it!).
  11. Thanks, that did it. Thanks Wim, as well, it's not your fault I'm still on win7.
