Adie
The Scarborough Commercial Photographer noticed this photograph of a herd of African Elephants taken by Zdenek Maly in The Guardian on Thursday March 3rd 2016. The report written by Damian Carrington tells of how the African elephant is under threat to satisfy the trade in ivory. The species are now in a fight for survival since more are being killed than are being born and a rise in the number of poaching incidents is regarded as being the chief cause for this. Adie
The Telegraph's correspondent Neil Connor wrote a piece on how Chinese culture is under threat by Disneyland. The article was illustrated by photographers images of Chinese culture and told of the way it could be perceived that Chinese children could be turning their back on their own heritage in favour of western culture. Li Xiusong, deputy head of culture in the eastern Anhui province believes that China should set up its own theme parks promoting China's identity instead.
