sdbernard
Just a quick question. With the new search results format when a user zooms a photo it loads the image in a new page. Meaning they have to hit the back button to go back to the results. Does this mean that every time they go back to the page of results it's adding to your views tally which will in turn reduce the CTR considerable. The previous system didn't have this problem as a zoom opened up in a new window
NYCat
Interesting question. I am thinking the buyers are going to find these new zooms very inconvenient so maybe there will be future changes. Paulette
Bill Brooks
As a photographer I find it inconvenient because when I am looking at your work for inspiration, I often have many tabs open and tab back and forth between zoomed images. Cant do it now, in Safari anyway.
wiskerke
Lots of people routinely block pop-ups. Opening an image in the same window is a disruption of a search though. I liked the version with the little thumbnails at the bottom. wim
wiskerke
Could it be that opening a zoom in a new tab or window does not count towards zooms? Or the opposite: that a regular zoom, opening in the same window, does not count towards zooms? wim
Jill Morgan
I always choose to open in a new tab now that I have got used to the new system. And maybe that doesn't count as a zoom as wim has suggested. Cause if I am not mistaken, the overall click through rate has been slipping daily. losdemas
My zooms and CTR has absolutely crashed since the change.... At least that shouldn't affect ranking, as everyone is in the same boat!
