Topics I would like to read about on the Forum.

In light of Alamy's editorial decision today, here's some photo topics that I think deserve threads of their own, just things I'd miss.

  • An American Expats thoughts  on food and statue photography in Liverpool.
  • F stops and crocs; Photographic opportunities when touring Australia.
  • I mended it, so I took a picture of it!
  • Mr Standfast is on a diet, show him your cooking!

👍🦔🙂

Much as I was tempted to show a full English breakfast. And yes, join the club!

I'd like to see more on what people have learned, or problems overcome and how.

Things we have witnessed, done, survived or just experienced, but forgotten to take pictures of.

As a reminder to others.

As a note to self.

Maybe with reasons for not taking pictures.

Obviously these may be good things or bad things tat have happened in your life.

A different topic could be the opposite: we did take pictures, even though the subject maybe was mundane, and we think the images would do well on Alamy.

Again good or bad things.

Maybe don't start a topic right now. Some people might think it's a reaction to something.

Those were two of the most interesting threads for me. They started in the depths of lockdown to cheer ourselves up. Occasionally, ok usually, they were OT. That was the point.

The worldview which has no room for them seems rather sad and paltry. Now nothing the tiniest bit off-brand is tolerable apparently.

The problem is that recently they were not just 'the tiniest bit off brand', they were veering into the considerably damaging to the brand and needing resource to moderate.

We agree it was a shame they had to close.

Alamy.
