Very scary and very ugly. It just goes to show how thin the veneer of civilized behaviour can be sometimes.

THIN! It's none existent in some parts of this country.

Poor chap, a horrible thing to happen to him and for nothing.

Not just in the UK, try Googling "Vancouver 2010 Stanley Cup riots." No one was killed, but all it took to bring the mob mentality to the surface was losing a silly hockey game.

At least some people claim to feel bad about what was done to the victim. And there will be an investigation. This is a sign that there are some good elements in this society after all. When such things are done to those who are termed the "weak" people here in Norway, nothing is really being investigated and no one will apologise. The wrongdoers walk free and unpunished and scare the c*** out of everyone who might want to speak up. This is truly scary and hopeless.

This is grotesque bestial behaviour. I hope that the photos that he took will be used as evidence against the thugs that vadalised his garden and that the police and the CPS will rise to the challenge of bringing justice to bear to all the perpetrators of these crimes.

Yes John, we had the same happening at football matches. At one time it was rife but seems to have calmed down a bit now. Probably because the events are policed more heavily now, at greater cost to the taxpayer.

For Gods sake it is just a game!
