Great that it is though, it’s a work of enormous beauty and elegance and for me its elucidation by Mendeleev stands as one of the greatest insights in the whole of science. Maybe so, but you have to admit that the lab explosions were cool. I see in the "what to shoot" pages that someone has been looking unsuccessfully for images of circular and spiral periodic tables.
