chris_rabe
While I have decided to focus mostly on submitting my content here. I will be leaving a couple of microstock accounts running for the more generic and rubbish stuff. I was considering using Alamy for travel/landscape/street/etc, and hosting my wildlife images on a dedicated wildlife/natural history type agency. But now not sure if that really makes much sense, and wondering if wouldn't be better off just posting all here... Opinions?

Brasilnut
Since you asked, I would suggest to put (almost) all everywhere and RF.

Putting more descriptive info (including locations) in your captions would be a good idea if you decide to stay with Alamy. Also, GDXP07 doesn't look like a Costa Rice sunrise to me. Wrong keywords as well. Just happened to notice...

Use your common sense all the way. Image editors will often shop as you do. Royalty Free - try to interpret the name. Images that sell on editorial sites are often very different to what is watered down and sell at micro sites. Then just choose what you prefer. Agreed. Have been looking a bit more into specialist wildlife agencies 10 hours ago, Brasilnut said: Since you asked, I would suggest to put (almost) all everywhere and RF. I'm trying to find a balance here. One thing I have realised is I don't particularly want to be listing in a dozen different places, and won't be using microstock for anything but left-overs, and even then, I will only be using agencies that have lightroom plugins - having a full time job currently, I want to simplify my admin tasks as much as possible. And it's so much easier managing everything through lightroom for me. 6 hours ago, John Mitchell said: Putting more descriptive info (including locations) in your captions would be a good idea if you decide to stay with Alamy. I have removed everything to start over - I never had that much here to begin with. 1 hour ago, Niels Quist said: You will get various and contradicting opinions here. I think I have made up my mind to try and find a dedicated wildlife agency for those particular subjects. Everything else will go on here.
