Alan Beastall
Quite pleased with 2016. A 67% increase in sales compared with 2015 and a corresponding increase of 22.5% in revenue which considering the competitive nature of this business its not all that bad. Some quite good sales, for example $214 from the National Trust, book front cover " Hardwick Hall - A Great Old Castle of Romance" which included the book launch a meal. An excellent start to 2017, 3 sales this week alone.

George Martinus
I think I (luckily) bucked the trend of falling average price. Helped by a couple of good sales. number of sales 2016 = 56 (2015 = 44) gross sales amount = $4679 (2015 = $2424) average price 2016 $83.55 (2015 = $55.10) sale prices 2016 >$500 = 2 >$200 = 3 >$100 = 8 >$50 = 17 <$50 = 26 I only added 139 images during the year. Hello cbimages and others, Since I'm new here I want to ask about the price sales. I joined Alamy since about 2 years ago, and I only got few sales which I can count them on fingers. The prices were also so low that I couldn't brag about. *lol, kidding* So I'm a bit surprised when I see your earning sales. $100 - >$500 for just 1 sale of picture? If you don't mind, I'd like to know the details of what the buyer usage of your picture that you can got such great price for only a single sell. Giant billboard? TV commercial? or others? Thanks a lot!

Wow, thanks cbimages! I see your portfolio is special and segmented pictures. So I'm not surprised with the sales anyway. So that makes... are from Indonesia, or at least are you Indonesian? No George, I'm an Aussie, but we spend 6 weeks, twice a year in Bali. We're retired (read that as old) so Bali is very affordable for us.
