Colblimp
I took a pic of a sunset last night specifically to show bad flare (from the sun, not '70's trousers! ). Simply, will this pass QC? Thanks, in anticipation.
hdh
Lens flare can pass QC, I have uploaded a few . am on mobile at the moment, so cannot attach a sample. If it is BAD Flare it may not pass, but if it adds or belongs to the composition it could/should.
Davey Towers
Typed "flare" into Alamy and there's 102 000 images! The first half dozen are all sun flare so I see no reason for flare to fail
Doc
Yes so long as it's obviously intended and the image is otherwise sharp Kumar

Colblimp
Thanks for your comments lads. I'm going to upload it and see what happens, although I've not had any fails thus far so I'd like to keep it that way!

Ed Rooney
I don't hink I'd have done this shot without the flare. And it sold.
Betty LaRue
A flare that makes the shot, Ed.

Purposely *not* deleting a picture *and/or* deliberately uploading the image to Alamy, counts also as intention in my world. In my speak your flare would be intentional, Betty - I like your picture btw.
