Any tips on ageing better would be most welcome. I'm finding getting up from a crouching position more difficult these days. 😉

Never go down on both knees at once, and not even on one on a hard surface. Even a hanky will do as a kneepad.

Alternatively, have a sturdy assistant/ OH/ bollard close at hand.

I have the same problem. Also have to take it easy when going down to the crouch.

 

Makes getting those quick grab shots very difficult. That is why most of my photos are from eye level or sometimes the waist level.

Just pretend you're still using the WLF on the Hasselblad. Flip-up screens rock.

I'm more likely to hark back to my Kodak Instamatic, unfortunately!
