Harry Harrison
Well this is creepy. Admittedly not related to stock photography (yet) but I was wondering why I kept seeing this stuff on Twitter. https://www.myheritage.com/deep-nostalgia
losdemas
Yup, fascinating stuff. Though I do admit that is definitely has creepy potential! Had a lot of kickback, apparently. Lots don't like it and the ability to create deep fake videos has been limited.
Jay D
I did watch Abraham Lincoln just the other day in motion and full colour, way more handsome than i was expecting. Definitely creepy but fascinating at the same time, think we're one step away from regenerating humans from their DNA. imagine the stories they could tell us... Allan Bell
It is the sort of tool that would be useful to put a face on an android. Allan's android.
MizBrown
Photoshop has an AI filter which will do somewhat similar things to faces. Then there was the cat filter that went viral in the US. Pretending to be someone else with a filter on Zoom or the various video chat programs seems to be possible soon if not already.

Memories are not carried in DNA Which I guess is why people write autobiographies, make personal photo albums, etc. Mind you, there are people who claim to have memories of past lives. There is a lot that our current materialistic world view does not explain. But I agree, a DNA clone would be just a clone, which would be a good thing in a lot of cases. 😄
