Biscuit ID help

Question

Can anyone tell me what sort of biscuit these are please. Thanks for any help

I don't know the name of it but in the USA it would be a "cookie". A biscuit is a type of bread or "roll".

Look a bit like Viennese Whirls without the filling.

 

Could be Viennese Whirl biscuits.

Difficult to say for sure without the box they came in. Do you have a location, just in case they are a local speciality?

Local coffee shop and when I asked them the question they only knew the Thai version which I couldn't translate

Think it might be a 'viennoise' - very short and crumbly and little like shortcake (but much lighter in consistency) - the swirls are classic of that type of biscuit, but I'm not a expert ...
