Gurcharan
I joined Alamy only two months back, all along had problem with this guideline: "If we find a problem with one image, your whole submission will fail" This seemed contrary to other websites which reject only those images which do not pass QC, but after 67 successful submissions, when they found problem with one image, they rejected only that one, passing rest of the images of the submission. A positive change of policy, or problem with the wording of the guideline??
Jill Morgan
Sometimes on your first fail, they are forgiving. Continue to fail, and the hammer will faill. Jill
spacecadet
Are you sure that the one images wasn't rejected because of a processing error rather than a QC fault? I've never known what you describe. If one fails, all fail.

Ed Rooney
A quick way to tell the difference, Mr. G, is that images are in red if they fail QC, but in orange if there was an unloading tech error.

Thanks Ed Rooney, but my line is red.
Allan Bell
Sorry I tried to copy and paste a part of my results chart showing both red and orange near one another but it failed to appear as it should. However if the two colours appear near to each other the difference can be seen but the orange on it's own can look red. Allan

Thanks a lot Geoff Kidd for great pains to make me understand. Unfortunately the links lead me to the page with message "You are not authorised to view the media details". Perhaps I will know the difference when my submission fails, but please pray that this does not happen very soon. I would prefer being ignorant rather than facing my first failed submission.
