A suitcase full of photographic wonder

Recommended Posts

I wonder if there will be an equivalent with all our digital images?

Will they become completely obselete and unreadable?

Do our images actually exist in the sense of something permanent and lasting or are they merely fleeting pixels of one age only?

Imagine finding some floppy discs from the 1980s!

Could be. You sure can't archive digital by forgetting it in a suitcase.

They certainly won't be unearthing any serviceable USB drives in 80 years' time.

With an eye on posterity maybe we should be printing rather than scanning?

Don't think prints will last as long as well developed  (stopped and well rinsed) black and white photos will.

Time capsule??
