Colin Woods
From an email from Skylum (ex MacPhun) this morning Tagging images is one of the most boring and time-consuming jobs a photographer can do. Our technology that generates tags that describe the image and its objects based on image recognition will be able to do this job for you, leaving you more time to do the things you enjoy. We live in hope, but I won't be putting my thesaurus aside just yet.

spacecadet
Considering the guesses GIS makes when it can't match an image I'm not holding my breath.

Must be easy, because the self-shooting camera already exists. It's from Google so it already knows what clients are looking for and where these things are. wim edit: facepalm - why drive everywhere when everyone already has been there with a camera.
