John Mitchell
Just wondering, has anyone ever been asked by Alamy to submit a larger file size for a customer interested in a specific image? I never have.
Martin P Wilson
Just wondering, has anyone ever been asked by Alamy to submit a larger file size for a customer interested in a specific image? I never have. No, but I always submit as large as I can without upscaling. On the other hand, I have been asked if I had any other images of a subject—perhaps a couple of times in 13 years
John Mitchell
On the other hand, I have been asked if I had any other images of a subject—perhaps a couple of times in 13 years Interesting to hear that. I've never been asked that question either.
M.Chapman
Just wondering, has anyone ever been asked by Alamy to submit a larger file size for a customer interested in a specific image? I never have. I have, once. Having downsized for the original Alamy submission I was able to produce a full resolution version from the RAW file. But I would argue there was no extra detail in the full resolution version, and it probably wouldn't have passed QC at 100%. But... it's what the end customer wanted. Bryan
Not been asked for a larger file size, but have seen customer searches marked FS. Just last week asked if I had any more shots of a Live News scene, that was a first.
losdemas
Only thing I have ever been asked was if I could get to Heathrow for a news event. At the time it seemed like a wasted day (no Live News sales), but one of the images has since gone on to be a repeat seller.
