losdemas Posted January 8, 2015 Share Posted January 8, 2015 Anyone noticed the new pop-ups post-zoom (i.e. click on a thumbnail, then click on the larger image on the details page)? I've been thinking that there isn't much point in zooming anymore because you don't get an image that is larger than the mouse-over zoom. Paulette Taking a look at a number of "zoomed zooms" they look over-sharpened to me. Halo's all over the place . All the efforts we go to in order to provide images that are sharp but (not sharpened) and without halos and sharpening artifacts, and then Alamy over-sharpens the previews.
