I now have a Sony RX100 which I take with me everywhere and am always pleasantly surprised and a little amazed by what pops into view! My DSLR only comes out for planned trips.

Which iteration of the RX100 do you (and others) have?

I'm having trouble hiding my Canon 5D4 when shopping  in Home Depot.

I went for the original one! Works fine but I'm sure the newer ones are even better! :-)

Looking at my recent licenses, I'm getting the impression that customers are coming to Alamy for subjects and image quality that they can't find on the micros. This has probably always been the case to some extent, but I think  it's especially true now -- perhaps something to keep in mind when looking for that elusive first sale and beyond.

😂 Mine is the RX 3. I also have the original. Look at my recent uploads and you’ll see shots taken in Walmart with it. What neat is you can flip the screen down, act like your fiddling around with it while all the time your framing and shooting.
