Other income??

On my sales report I have been credited with one penny, marked as 'other income'. Anyone have a clue what this might be? Just curious (it's not a life-changing sum!)...

Lucky you. A good start for a night out.

 

Probably a small adjustment in the accounting - like when the taxation authorities quite unexpected send you a few pennies, or øre, which is our similar.

Are you sure it's as much as one penny?  They usually pay in cents.  I was lucky enough to get 8!!!!

It will be cents, but Americans do occasionally refer to them as "pennies".
