BidC
Hi, Am just wondering if a property release needs to be signed for images of other peoples pets ? Thanks for any guidance, Bridget
Matt Ashmore
To sell for commercial use.. yes, you need a release. To sell for editorial reasons.. no release needed.

OTOH there are literally millions of commercially available RF images of dogs, cats, etc. on microstock sites, and the majority of them are probably unreleased shots of other people's pets. Personally on Alamy, I would put them up as for sale with an RM license with property = YES, property release = NO unless it was my own pet in which case probably just RF.
