..and avoiding it straightaway, I'd say 'maybe' :) !

 

Your images may be as creative as you like, but they should still conform to QC guidelines.  Personally, if you wish to pursue this route - and you feel that there is a market in stock for it - I would first ask MS, then upload a test submission of the type of images you wish to licence using these techniques (or software-emulated versions of them - which I presume is what you intend).  If they pass, then crack on, remembering to note their attributes as 'digitally altered'.
