  1. Whilst in Spain check out San Sebastián and Bilbao....probably the two greatest cities in Europe.
  2. Ok, that makes sense. I personally would not want to be part of the press pack, I’m sure there would be a lot of newsworthy shots away from the main thong....useless auto correct, I meant throng.
  3. I don’t see the point in any accreditation whatsoever if you are intending to upload to the Alamy news feed. You are in a public place taking pictures of the public for editorial news so no problem. I really don’t believe that Alamy favours any of their contributors whatsoever referring news. If you are there and get the right shots keyworded and uploaded immediately then you have as much chance as anyone else. My occasional input to the news feed has been very successful and I’m hardly on of the “favoured few”
  4. Pretty much identical pattern for me John. My CTR has took a serious dive but my sales total is higher this year than it's ever been. One thing I've learnt over the years about CTR stats and sales etc on Alamy is that the only constant is that it's random. Andy
  5. Double click on the home button then swipe to close the page, then open up safari and try again and it should work.
  6. Not quite what I meant. The point being is that this is a public forum.
  7. You may be creating a problem to fix. Firstly you do not say what computer you are currently using. I personally use Macs and I have never had a problem straight out of the box and that includes 27" imac and 2 macbooks that I have never calibrated. I have a lot of prints printed out by labs that are always spot on without any lab calibration and pretty much all childrens portraiture so have to be right. Secondly, and more importantly, I have had a look at your portfolio and I cannot see any obvious colour cast so there may not be a problem. In the distant past in the old pc days I often calibrated my screen and tried out various gizmo's and methods and generally created problems one way or another. In short 'if it ain't broke don't fix it". Sorry if it's slightly off of the precise question but hopefully my answer will generate some food for thought. Andy
  8. Tried it on my iPhone 6 Plus and it's a right mess, can't even open an image. I'll wait for the gremlins to get ironed out.
  9. Is it really a good idea to tell all the newspapers what each other is individually paying? You will be complaining about low prices next!
  10. I suppose your other job must be a professional comedian. Only intended as jest rather than sarcasm Vickie. If you really want interchangeable lenses and your happy with your Sony then I suggest looking for a secondhand NEX series camera which should fulfill your needs.
  11. The answer is no. Although I suppose you could buy a cheap telescope from a toy shop and hand hold it in place, but I'm not sure even this would work very well. Good luck.
  12. A Fuji S3 and any fixed length lens that has 'Nikon' written on it. Cheap as chips and one of the best aps sensors ever made.
  13. Just noticed it was from last March so I would check with Alamy and then chase it.
  14. Probably a sale as there is no reason to think otherwise. The fact that the zoom is registered shows that it has been zoomed by a Alamy paying customer. If no sale appears in about 3 months then inform MS with a screenshot or link. This is totally normal.
  15. As I've previously posted. I too have owned both a mk1 and mk2 Rx100 and been very unhappy on both occasions. The Canon G7x is a totally different animal that gives consistent quality results. Much nicer to hold and use. Or, of course, I may have just picked out the strawberry cream.
  16. One of mine did not appear for about 9 months, and that was after considerable chasing. Although, I would expect it to be in line with normal sales now.
  17. As above, but only if you are on public property such as the street. Andy
