Jill Morgan
Is it all right to take a photo that has previously been accepted, remove the main subject and put it on a white background and re-submit as a different photo? I have a couple of zebra and an elephant I would like to crop the subjects out of and just have them on a white background. Or is this a no no? spacecadet
It's allowed. One similar isn't excessive.
Phil Robinson
I do this a lot with statues and other details that might be wanted as isolated subjects. And they do sell.
David Davies
I wouldn't even consider it to be a similar if the background has been removed!
David Kilpatrick
I've got identical images with and without retouching as well - straight photojournalism, and cleaned up pictorial. Identified as such.
