Archival materials suppliers

Having been much away and busy with other matters for the last six months, I hadn't placed a recent order for display, storage and darkroom materials etc. I'm shocked to find that both my favourite suppliers - Silverprint and Speed Graphic - went into administration earlier this year. Sad news for me and many others that such comprehensive and knowledgeable establishments have gone under. Where now, I wonder?

Problem is, it's not just the suppliers,  but the makers that have gone.  I wouldn't know where to get the stuff I no longer buy anymore. I don't know, we stop buying stuff and the sellers go bust, most careless of them😉

Or Process Supplies are still in Farringdon- haven't looked at the catalogue. Ebay may be worth a try.

Process Supplies sounds like a good bet, I knew about Silverprint but not Speed Graphic, both excellent retailers. There may be some businesses that respond to their demise I suppose but I doubt they will have the range that those two retailers had.

 

There are some places that cater for the resurgent interest in film, so Parallax Photographic Coop perhaps, maybe Analogue Wonderland.

 

Otherwise if you know what you're looking for you can probably get it from Wex, Jessops or Park Cameras which is probably why those two companies packed up.

The  Imaging Warehouse perhaps. I only use them for Permajet papers but they have a lot of darkroom and storage stuff etc on their website. They are very reliable with competitive pricing in my experience.
