Hi Withnail. On Alamy Image Manager (AIM), select one of your images. It will tell you in the top right, just under '1 image selected' whether or not your image is on sale. You need to fill out all the mandatory information. As Paulette says, it will take 24 hours for the database to update once AIM says the image is on sale.

Thanks guys, but all the above is already done. Captions + tags + payment info. And I've filled in all the boxes in both mandatory and optional info. That was 2 weeks ago so I don't know what's going on. I'll send a mail to Alamy and see if I can sort it out 👍

From the link Steve posted:

If you embed information within the image file with a caption and at least 5 tags the images will automatically go on sale using the defaults set in your account.

Even though that is with tags embedded in the file, I think you also need to add at least 5 tags in AIM

It is automatic if there are 5 tags. I don't usually embed, but when I've done so by chance from LR, as long as there were at least 5 they have gone straight on sale. In fact for me it's not helpful to have an inadequately tagged image slip through like that- I may be a minimal tagger, but 5 is ridiculous.

You only have one tag. You need at least 5. I'd suggest doing a lot of work on captions and tags if you want to have your work seen by buyers. Steve F, bless his heart, always has lots of advice for that.... so I am copying from previous advice by him... Pay attention to it ... Good advice..

Captions are searchable by clients. Your captions are too short. Try to make use of all 150 letters available to you in the caption. You should include what you can see in the image and any extra wording to try to make an image more saleable, e.g.:

Include the Latin as well as the common name of plants, insects and the location (including the country). Some helpful links:
