10k sales

Not many milestones achieved these days, but after 19 years with Alamy, passed 10,000 sales today at a value of well over $500k! Back in 2003 average sale was $150 with a 70/30 split, today average sale $25 and the split is 40/60. To say I've been demotivated for a couple of years would be an understatement, but still selling so can't complain.

I'm not as successful as Angler, but the best advice I can give is to look at the monthly Images Sold thread to see what's selling.

It took about a year on Alamy before I made my first sale here.

Also, diversify.
