Jansos
In these uncertain times, which of the big players will be able to maintain a market presence in the face of declining revenue in stock photography? We often hear that the market is saturated, is Alamy/PA's business plan/strategy strong enough to weather the storm? Do we know what the plan is, I'm assuming it is published somewhere? Nodvandigtid
Why would any business at any level makes its business plan/strategy public????

I didn't mean to suggest the intimate detail but broad brush strokes, something along the lines of this from BP - https://www.bp.com/en/global/corporate/what-we-do/our-business-model.html It would be reassuring to get a gist of overall direction of travel. Perhaps it is already available somewhere?

Unfortunately, the 'plan' over the last few years has been to increase profit by taking revenue from contributors. We no longer recieve the sort of updates that we used to expect from James West. I don't think that we have had anything since December 2020 and the infamous video assuring us that there would be no need to reduce commission because they had plans for sales growth. We are not treated as business partners any longer. Edited March 31, 2022 by geogphotos 1
Bruce Leighty
Sad, but true, trend of the times. Saturation of available images, lower sales prices, less commission percentages. Gloomy environment in which to adapt. Survival seems to be buried within volume not necessarily quality. 1
