Another UK magazine search site?

Readly is a new magazine site that was discussed here recently.

 

I remember using another one - sorry to be so vague - any ideas.

 

Looking for DACS search potential.

For DACS can you use a generic ISSN for a magazine or do you need the one for a particular issue?

 

I know of a use in Farmers Weekly magazine in March 2020 and can find the generic ISSN but not a copy of that issue.

ISSN (AFAIK) are assigned to the title only - no difference month to month unless there is a significant change in the title....Farmers Weekly becoming Farmers Monthly or Farmers Fortnightly etc.

I don't know if you're answered this question for yourself, but yes, you can.

BTW if you have any missing ISSNs, I knew of some in a mag and they didn't print their ISSN, so I emailed them and they told me it. Looking it up here

Thanks for all the tips. I tried the four links suggested by Wim but can't get any matches for my pseudonym searches. 

 

I'll keep looking for these needles in this huge haystack 🙃

Haha did try them with your name/pseudo obviously. Just with my own of course. The one with the inflight magazines is interesting.
