Images in re-published articles

Recommended Posts

I just found an Guardian article about vintage shopping that contained one of my images being re-published at another site.

The original article:

https://www.theguardian.com/travel/2019/nov/16/retro-vintage-shopping-shops-markets-berlin-bilbao-naples-boedeaux-helsinki-vienna

Re-published at:

http://www.tripulous.com/2019/11/six-of-europes-best-cities-for-vintage-and-retro-shopping/

Don't know if The Guardian is OK with this, but since this re-use of my image have not been reported, I'm not. Any similar experiences?

Their Terms of Use seem fairly clear:

You may not, except with our express written permission, distribute or commercially exploit the content. Nor may you transmit it or store it in any other website or other form of electronic retrieval system."

So, unless the came to an arrangement with The Guardian, of bought a licence from Alamy it's a clear infringement.
