Jill Morgan
Have a chance to get one of these fairly cheaply. Has anyone ever used one? Is it any good? Jill
MDM
If you are thinking of using this for any professional purpose then the specs indicate that it is not suitable (that is the polite way saying it).
spacecadet
A bit marginal even for archive, methinks. 1800dpi is only 2700 on 35mm. My slide copier is about 4000.
Jill Morgan
Thanks, I'll give it a miss then. Jill
MDM
DSLR with 1:1 macro lens or similar with extension rings and slide holder attachment may be the way to go now for quality slide copying. I got one of these by Nikon a while back but have not gotten around to trying it out yet. One day I will.
