valestock
Hi All, I am about to buy one RX100' not the mark ii, the older one. I am currently shooting editorials, stock and art with my 7d, but I need something pocketable and discreet to always carry with me. The RX100 seems to be good for this. Just a couple of concerns: - does the focus looks sharp at 100%? - what is the real issue with the blurry edges? I have seen reviews saying it is often required cropping - would you suggest shooting in jpg instead RAW? Thanks, v.
David Kilpatrick
The cameras vary, some lenses are really quite sharp across the frame. I do not have seriously blurry edges with either the mk1 or mk2 when working at f/5.6 - some softness wider.
