Can you select more than 500 images for a mass amend?

Can you select more than 500 images for a mass amend?

 

Although I can select all my upload batches in one go, it seems I can only run a mass amend on the first 500 images.  I want to change all images to No Personal Use.

There doesn't appear to be a limit on the click-and-drag method of selection in "all subs". I've just selected 528 before my finger got tired.

So you could tape down the mouse button and go for a cup of coffee.

Edit- I spoke too soon. A popup has now appeared saying "you have selected a maximum of 500 images"although the "working on" tab says 528. So who knows. Maybe you have to do it sub by  sub.

Edit again- the 528 was correct. So you can. But I wasn't brave enough actually to change anything.

I can select all images 4000+ plus but any action selected and saved will only happen on the first 500 images as far as I can see.

When the popup came on did you click on any boxes or the cross in the top corner and what happened?

 

I only ask as when it happened to me I didi not get a response from clicking anything so had to come out and restart.

It responded. But it had taken a long time to mark the 500 as selected. I think if you wait it will eventually respond.

As I didn't then do anything it's probably not too useful a test.
