Gervais Montacute
I'm not sure if it's possible to download an HDR image that would be accepted by Alamy QC. Does anyone know if there is a specific way of dealing with these types of more specialist images? Anyone had any success downloading an HDR with Alamy? I don't want to download a single HDR, only to find I'm banned for a month just on an experiment. TIA
dustydingo
If it's just HDR, and done well, no one's going to notice. If it's what's now known as "faux HDR" . . . well, there's a few of them with Alamy too. Oh . . . you will not be BANNED for a month. Doesn't happen. dd
Gervais Montacute
Thanks Dusty. Actually I didn't stop the download in time and it was in with a batch. So I will leave it in there because it's not one of those faux HDR images that can look sort of weird and wonderful. Let's see what happens. No worries . . . as long as it meets all the QC standards it'll be fine, regardless of what treatments it's received. dd
John Morrison
I use HDR for some interiors (they don't have the 'HDR look')... and have no problems with QC...
Gervais Montacute
Anyone posting some Alamy HDR acceptances would be appreciated. It's a bit of a grey area.
Colin Woods
I have a few here. They pass QC and one of them (below) was a fairly good seller a few years back. Col

Alexandre Fagundes
I use what people call "realistic" HDR when I need more latitude. But I am not very fond of the HDR style where you push that much shadows into that kind of look. About alamy accepting that or not, I don´t really have much experience. My realistic HDR´s they are accepting, but I think they look pretty much like a normal picture anyway. BTW, does anybody knows how can I post an image that doesnt look so big here in the forum? Guest
BTW, does anybody knows how can I post an image that doesnt look so big here in the forum? Use the image info from the search results, not the zoom page which is much larger.
