Tim Ayers
I've had five Alamy Infringement message emails so far this year and in each case I've responded 'chase' but as yet there has been no obvious results. Is this a new-ish thing and should I just allow them a more realistic time to do their job? Thanks, Tim
Niels Quist
I had one of these e-mails for the very first time about three weeks ago, too. I am also still waiting - and I think it may take some time. Alamy doesn't want us to as to the development of infringement cases, probably a massive extra job to reply.... Phil Robinson
Also, the chasing is done by a third party who presumably take a while and just send the money on to Alamy, minus their cut, when it arrives. I doubt Alamy knows much about what is happening until the money shows up. I've had lots of those emails (nearly all about the same image) and so far one payout. CandyAppleRed Images
I queried one recently which has been o/s since last August and was told it was definitely being chased but as it is a 3rd party doing it, "It can take some time".
