Re-reading the IQ data, my guesstimate is that an IQ sale does not necessarily mean that the buyer is going to reuse that image, it means they are an IQ customer and the image is managed under IQ? That it is flagged and if the organization does use it again, preferential rates will apply. (It's flagged in searches etc). From the IQ page: Your Library featureView all the images your company has licensed. Images previously licensed are clearly tagged in search results. Expired images disappear automatically Over 200 international corporations, 30 magazine companies and 100 ad & design agencies are already benefiting from Alamy iQ.
