biel
i have some QC fails with "Image processing error". I tested my dirty ADSL line (only 300kb up) sending and downloading some pics from my web server and the images are ok. so what "Image processing error" mean? this is a problem from my side, alamy or the adsl line? Allan Bell
Usually means images have not loaded correctly onto Alamy server. You may want to check your jpegs are being saved on your computer as Baseline standard as if not this can sometimes cause problems on transfer. John Mitchell
Yes, saving JPEGs as "Baseline Optimized" (whatever that means) rather than "Baseline Standard" can cause image processing errors.
woody
I think the uploader is a bit flakey compared to sites that use FTP. I've had a number of these image processing errors but the good news is that it's not a QC fail, no sin bin and whatever is uploaded ok is accepted.
