Account Balance question

When looking at my sales it shows a sale made, however, in the paid column it states Uncleared   - what does that mean?  Date of sale was October 4th -- todays date it October 18th.   How long does it take for a sale to post?

Uncleared means Alamy haven't been paid yet - you will get paid when Alamy does, which could be several weeks yet (assuming your total cleared sales reach the $50 payout threshold) .  If it's a newspaper sale they usually pay towards the end of the month.

The minimum time for a sale to clear is 45 days as per contract. So the earliest you will see this money is the beginning of December, assuming the publisher pays on time (most do).

I also was going to refer to the Contract, but as we know Alamy is not really good at reading it's own wording, well except when it's to their advantage
