Hi to all! I noticed that some agencies upload the same images multiple times (try:“Palestine Protest Tokyo”, now on Live News). Is this a correct behaviour? Could this conduct affect image searchability? TY

It's very common and un professional.   News buyers have many tens of thousands of images to look at each day, it's silly sending in so many very similar images.

It can also cause conflict with who is credited for the image, and which agency or individual is ultimately paid for the usage.

as per the new contract, agencies are "special" in Alamy's mind, so i am sure Alamy is fine with the approach.  

 

 

as for behaviour, it is just part of the race to the bottom the industry seem to be involved in.  just upload indiscriminately and hope customers find it.
