  1. Nice one... I transitioned from D3100 to D750 last year and I don't regret it. Love me a full framer. You should grab a cheap battery grip and an extra cell for long days outdoors. Even the non-genuine ones connect directly to the dedicated port on the bottom of the camera.
  2. Dodgy backend code and slow server updates, I reckon. Generally they initiate the daily sales and transactions update at 1AM UK time (Mon-Sun) which takes around 10-15 minutes... Then the stats Mon-Fri any time between 10AM and 12:30PM. The latter will obviously take a lot more computing so if any hitches come up it will hang and result in data problems on the frontend (for contributors).

  4. Yeah, I had the same thing. Searched for "uncleared", read this thinking it was an old thread, but appears to be an issue with a few other contributors. I imagine a particular customer didn't actually make their payments. Possibly an accounting error.
  5. Costs more than how much Alamy will end up licensing them for...
  6. You know a business is legit when their website favicon is still the Wordpress default logo.
  7. I'm awaiting a newspaper pic use from a couple of months ago. It's clearly within Alamy's best interest to invoice these after the new contract comes into play, so I suspect I'll only be getting 40% even though it was published in a national newspaper during the old contract.
  8. Figure yourself lucky, I just had a sale which netted less than a dollar.
  9. First one in this month... $$$ net Media, design & publishing in perpetuity
  10. A bloke entered mine and my girlfriend's flat while we were out, digging through drawers, cupboards and the wardrobe looking for valuables to take and sell. Luckily a flatmate was also woken up by him entering her room, after which he went back to ours and put things back, shortly after which we returned to see the damage... Turns out the property manager just handed a master key off to this guy and let him go free roam through our rooms to offer a "clearance quote", requested by a flatmate who's abroad at the moment. Thankfully we have a recording of him speaking on th
  11. Just checking - are you sure you didn't hold another account? I suppose this email is not the one linked with your current one?
  12. Low $$ sale used in The Sun online... UK Weather rates. Sudden snow fall in Pheasey, Birmingham at the start of April. Also, this peculiar one... Country: WorldwideUsage: EditorialMedia: Television (editorial)Print run: Unlimited transmissionsPlacement: Use within body of showStart: 28 May 2021Duration: In perpetuity as per PA Images subscription agreement Slightly higher $$ but not fantastic for TV... Never seen PA Images referenced in terms before.
  13. Just had a sale drop in for TV editorial usage... Low $$... Country: WorldwideUsage: EditorialMedia: Television (editorial)Print run: Unlimited transmissionsPlacement: Use within body of showStart: 28 May 2021Duration: In perpetuity as per PA Images subscription agreement A bit rubbish... Anybody else seen this in their terms? It would suggest that the photo was sold under the PA name.
