Unable to report possible scam message contact

Recommended Posts

Received a private message this morning from a member that I suspect is a scammer. Tried to report this member but the report system is not working. Have sent a mail to the Sales contact line as this is the only contact address that I can find.

Please can Alamy contact me to get this sorted.

Thank you.

No need for that sort of attitude guys. It's not very helpful is it?

Well maybe Alamy should:-

1. Give us a contact mail to allow us to contact them.

2. Fix the report system.

1. memberservices@alamy.com -how come you don't have that address?

2. Alamy have weekends off. Your message was posted at 7am.

What attitude is it you're referring to? I see no posts with attitude in this thread. Just pointing out that this is already known about and been talked about in several other threads all Weekend. :)

Geoff.

The 'I can't believe' attitude.

1. Don't have it, never had it and couldn't find it.

2. I wasn't expecting an instant response from Alamy.

3. The report post system doesn't work which is rather disconcerting.

On the contributor homepage, unsurprisingly, or alternatively, who is your friend?

Written in a calm, friendly way with a smile on my face. So in other words, "I'm surprised that one spam message can cause so many threads and posts, but that's ok, it's not a problem and just a friendly comment that isn't intended as a dig at any one person". It's easy to misinterpret people in writing. The fact that there are 3 other threads on the subject and it's frustrating when people don't check for very recent repetitive posts, isn't something I mentioned.  :)

Geoff.

Indeed it is. I appreciate your frustration but you must also appreciate mine when, as I say, it is irritating that the Report button is not working. Had that been available I would never have bothered posting.  :)

Home page >>> see bottom >>> Get in touch >>> contact info

Not that hard to find  -_-

Cheers,

Philippe

Don't know why you bothered responding in such a manner anyway. My usual motto is that if I have nothing useful to add to a thread that irritates me I don't bother adding to it at all.
