  1. A radical suggestion here and a post that will probably be taken down quickly as it will obviously prove controversial but we are, once again, seeing a reduction in the commissions to be paid to contributors. Would it not be too much to ask to get the buyers to pay a little more rather than to hit your suppliers without who you don't have a business. Thank you for listening.
  2. I've just contacted Alamy by e-mail and got a very quick response:- There doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with upload at our end. You might want to try deleting temporary files, clearing your cache, and logging in from a different browser. You might also want to try upload via FTP. This is their e-mail should you encounter any further problems:- contributors@alamy.com
  3. I have just tried to upload and cannot either. However, as your question seems to have gone unanswered in more than a week I guess Alamy aren't in a hurry to respond.
  4. Sales have contacted me extremely promptly this morning and have forwarded my mail to the appropriate department. Please consider the matter closed.
  5. 1. memberservices@alamy.com -how come you don't have that address? 2. Alamy have weekends off. Your message was posted at 7am. 1. Don't have it, never had it and couldn't find it. 2. I wasn't expecting an instant response from Alamy. 3. The report post system doesn't work which is rather disconcerting. Home page >>> see bottom >>> Get in touch >>> contact info Not that hard to find Cheers, Philippe Don't know why you bothered responding in such a manner anyway. My usual motto is that if I have nothing useful to add to a thread th
  6. The 'I can't believe' attitude. Written in a calm, friendly way with a smile on my face. So in other words, "I'm surprised that one spam message can cause so many threads and posts, but that's ok, it's not a problem and just a friendly comment that isn't intended as a dig at any one person". It's easy to misinterpret people in writing. The fact that there are 3 other threads on the subject and it's frustrating when people don't check for very recent repetitive posts, isn't something I mentioned. Geoff. Indeed it is. I appreciate your frustration but you must also apprecia

  8. No need for that sort of attitude guys. It's not very helpful is it? Well maybe Alamy should:- 1. Give us a contact mail to allow us to contact them. 2. Fix the report system.
  9. Received a private message this morning from a member that I suspect is a scammer. Tried to report this member but the report system is not working. Have sent a mail to the Sales contact line as this is the only contact address that I can find. Please can Alamy contact me to get this sorted. Thank you.
  10. Many thanks Ed, just need clients to find and buy as none of them have sold Yikes! It's so confusing when really good images, with good keywording, do not sell in our modern stock world. I spent a lot of time and effort shooting St. Peter's in Rome (was staying with a friend just outside the square). I've yet to have a single sale or zoom on this mainstream subject. ??? And in 2015, 75% of my sales were of things that are in walking distance of my front door. Your non-abstract images are very good, but very stylized, and that might be limiting. I don't normally suggest that s
  11. Of course. It takes 3 days, without fail. Just contact MS. I don't think you can add the bank details online any more. I just had a look and it seems that you can still add bank details and select funds transfer. It does not display the current details for security reasons. Alamy did announce a couple of years back that you couldn't change the details. That might not stop you providing them in the first place. Thanks, have had an e-mail response now too. Seems that the IT department is having problems with their e-mail service.
