New panasonic with 1" sensor and 25mm-250mm equivalent lens

Recommended Posts

Already looked at this one and find it interesting. Could be a replacement for my RX100 mk1 which will be relegated to "permanently in car" camera.

I'm struggling with my current 1" sensor on the RX10.

I can't help comparing the quality with my full frame camera and it's just not good enough, so I'm constantly downsizing to 3600px long side to allay my fear of a QC failure.

This feature on the TZ100 might be useful for some ... "Post-Focus feature".

Anyone want to buy an RX10?

I had the RX10 for a very short time and sold it on for the same reason you are thinking of dumping yours. I think it may be something to do with the sensor/lens combo on the RX10.

I wonder what range of that zoom will be good enough for alamy?  The extremes can be a bit too soft with a lot of compact zooms.

This new camera is not classed as compact having the 1" sensor installed.
